Fresh Fall color combos
We all have colors we like, colors we’re drawn to, colors we buy often. While it’s common to pair a bold color with something easy, like basic black or denim, many people get confused or indimidated when it comes to pairing two strong colors together. I’m excited to share some of my favorite color combos of the moment, very on trend for fall.
MODEL #1: Burgundy + Chartreuse (Old Navy)
MODEL #2: Navy + Blush pink (LOFT)
MODEL #3: Bright red + Khaki brown (ZARA)
MODEL #4: Forest green + Mint green (Kohl’s)
I want to say something about affordable fashion, in general: just because something is inexpensive and/or a trend piece, doesn’t mean that we should think of it as disposable or not take care of it. I have great pieces from ZARA, H&M, Old Navy that I’ve had for years, and I treat them like they are valuable. Truthfully, there is often not much difference between a $15 shirt and a $75 shirt, but I often see clients treating their more expensive pieces differently (taking better care, etc.), and THAT'S why those piece last longer. So take care of your things! Because next year there may be a new color piece to pair it with.
